Seasonal advice from Cube Controls

Jan 5, 2017

I am sure everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break and are now settling back into work, all fighting fit and raring to go!
Don’t forget that your buildings and their systems did not stop operating during this time and that problems may have occured and been missed in your absence.
After the festive period, especially as the external temperatures have fallen, go to your BMS and check the alarm logs and overview pages and look for potential problems.
Pay particular attention to your external temperature (outside air) sensor and make sure you are happy that it is reading accurately. Not only does this sensor govern the effectiveness of your heating systems it also protects dormant systems such as Chillers and protects them from freezing.Thermo
